The Idea

Currently in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas there are almost non-existent advocates for climate change awareness. FOCUS is a group of teenagers serving our community that wish to take action and together with MISSION TUNA TEAM bike club, plan to organize a ride to invite 350 bike riders of our community and complete a course where we´ll take on the most transited streets and ride in front of the city halls of our three adjoining towns: Edinburgh, McAllen and Mission Texas. We plan to invite every bike rider group and unite forces with the chambers of commerce, the local Rotary Club and well, involve every contact we have to be able to educate and build awareness to a problem that has a solution: each one of us taking action.

Mission, McAllen and Edinburg Texas

The campaign starts as soon as we get the grant and for three consecutive months we work on our promotional campaign until ride day, tentatively saturday october 13, 2012

Be the youth group in the community that starts an educational campaign on climate change.

Is your project a new idea, or was it initiated after November 2011?: A new idea
