Use the Funds to Buy Tree Seedlings. Locate a Clear Cut or Waste Area in my region. Host a Tree Planting on the vacant land. Invite my Community - Each person invited to Plant One Tree. Bring a soapbox and give Each Tree Planter 3 minutes to Voice Concerns and Hopes for the future. Water well and repeat. A wonderful visual, symbolic, and practical action toward new life and fresh air for the future.

Recently on a "power" walk with my daughter and I commented, as we walked under some deep shade along the path: Wow, the shade from mature trees is really an unsung value. Wonderful gift.

Trees have always been important to me... symbolizing putting down roots while ever reaching upward. Trees are mystical, magical and yet practical. Good luck.

I was just going for my walk last night in town and noticed how many apartment buildings don't have trees out front anymore..landlords don't want to bother....but tell you what....on a hot afternoon i loved the streets that had shade!

Good idea. Trees are so inspiring..... rooted in the earth and reaching up to the light. They give us fruit, shade, and oxygen to name just a few of their gifts.
