Pedaling the 350.org Movement on NJ Campuses

The Idea

Our goal: to spread the 350.org message to college campuses all around the state of NJ. Our method: host a table at 10 colleges' Activity Day, and feature a bicycle-powered, 350.org slide show. To engage students, we will invite them to pedal while we chat and show the slide show. We will sign up new recruits, take lots of photos, and publicize our event to national, state and local media.

All of NJ -- 10 colleges to include: Rutgers, Princeton, Montclair State, Seton Hall, Ramapo College, Keane College, NJIT, Bergen Community College, and Fairleigh Dickenson.

Construction of bicycle to begin immediately. Activity Days are typically in the Fall (2012). We will use the bike/generator for future events i.e. Earth Day fairs.

We will help build the 350.org movement among students & demonstrate renewable energy.
